On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, the Finance and Accounting Division, in collaboration with the Strategic Planning Division, hosted a joint meeting of five university committees from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. These committees included the Finance and Property Committee, the Risk Management Oversight Committee, the Audit Committee, the Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Committee, and the Human Resource Management Committee. Following this, the Finance and Accounting Division convened the 3rd Walailak University Finance and Property Committee Meeting of 2026 from 11:40 AM to 1:30 PM. The sessions were conducted in a hybrid format at the Moklan Meeting Room (3rd Floor, Professor Dr. Wichit Srisaan Building) and online via Zoom Cloud Meetings, with some committee members attending in person at Walailak University in Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat.
The joint consultative meeting among the five committees focused on reviewing the university’s financial status for the first six months of the 2026 fiscal year, the 6-month performance report from the Risk Management Oversight Committee, and the university’s semi-annual operational progress report. This session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Jiraprapa Akraborn, Chairperson of the Risk Management Oversight Committee.
Meanwhile, the Finance and Property Committee meeting addressed several key agendas, including the approval of undergraduate tuition fee adjustments for the 2027 academic year, the supplementary revenue and expenditure budget plan for the 2026 fiscal year, and the financial statements for the year ended September 30, 2025, which have been audited by the State Audit Office (SAO). The meeting was chaired by Assoc. Prof. (Special) Dr. Krissada Sektrakul, Chairman of the Finance and Property Committee, alongside Vice Chairman Prof. Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwit Wuthisuthimethavee served as the committee secretary, while Ms. Hattakan Karunpaisarn (Head of the Finance and Accounting Division) and Mr. Pipatphan Suwanakson (Head of the Strategic Planning Division) acted as assistant secretaries. The next meeting (No. 4/2026) is scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
