On October 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Finance and Accounting Division held a meeting regarding the electronic disbursement of research funds and scholarships (paperless). Those involved in disbursements within the Finance and Accounting Division and representatives from the Institute for Research and Innovation Excellence attended the meeting. This meeting aimed to jointly develop disbursement services for university units in accordance with the university’s core missions of teaching, academic services, research, and the preservation of arts and culture. The procedures and operations are in accordance with relevant regulations, delegations, rules, announcements, and guidelines, including electronic information operations. To facilitate disbursement services, speed, and agility with the times, we would like to introduce electronic disbursement services for research funds and scholarships (no need to submit original documents to the Finance and Accounting Division) in fiscal year 2026. Four types of disbursements will be piloted: 1. Walailak University New Researcher Development Scheme; 2. Fundamental Research Fund; 3. Lump-sum High-Quality Publication Grant; and 4. Academic Fund.
