Due to the current expansion of the university’s departments, faculties, centers/institutes, enterprise units, special/international courses, faculty funds and the university has continuously improved the regulations, announcements, guidelines for receiving and disbursing money, and information systems for finance and accounting operations. To keep up with the current situation, the Finance and Accounting Division, led by Ms. Hattakan Karnpaisan, Head of Finance and Accounting Division, organized an exchange of knowledge in finance and accounting to increase the efficiency of receiving and disbursing money and the budget of Walailak University on Monday, February 24, 2025 at the Huatapan Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Chulabhorn Vejwat Building, Walailak University Medical Center Hospital, with Associate Professor Dr. Suwit Wutthisutthimethawi, Vice President, honored to preside over the opening ceremony.
The objectives of the activities are as follows: 1. To create knowledge and understanding about regulations, authorization orders, rules, announcements, criteria and practices for receiving-disbursing money, budget control and auditing. 2. To create knowledge, understanding and performance of financial and accounting duties according to the responsibilities effectively in accordance with regulations, announcements and auditable. 3. To have a good understanding between those performing the duties of receiving-disbursing money, accounting of the finance and accounting section and the unit. 4. To exchange opinions, attitudes, experiences in working and be able to suggest problems, obstacles and solutions for financial and accounting operations that will be beneficial to future duties.
In this event, there were representatives from various agencies and interested persons, totaling 157 persons, who participated in the activity. The participants answered questions to measure their knowledge and understanding after the activity. Those who answered questions and passed the criteria of 70% received a certificate via the HRMS system.
